We ensure a high level of security for particularly confidential data such as in payment transactions or with regard to your enquiries to us by using SSL encryption.

For all questions and concerns regarding the correction, blocking or deletion of personal data, please contact our data protection officer using the contact details in this data protection declaration or at the address given in the imprint.

Our websites

Our portals are advertising platforms for holiday accommodation in Germany. Website users who wish to rent out holiday accommodation ("hosts") can create and publish an advertisement of their holiday accommodation and thus make it available for viewing and contacting website users who wish to rent holiday accommodation ("tenants"). The presentation of the advertisements includes a possibility for direct contact between host and tenant.

You can visit our websites without revealing any information about your identity. Your browser only automatically transmits information to the server of our websites. This information is temporarily stored in a log file and saved until it is automatically deleted:

This data is collected and processed for the purpose of enabling the use of our websites, ensuring system security and stability and for the technical administration of the network infrastructure. We do not draw any conclusions about you as a person.

As a host, you must register on our website in order to be able to publish holiday flats and holiday homes on our platform. In the course of registering on our website as a host, we collect and store the following data from you as mandatory information:

If you as a host publish an advertisement for a holiday accommodation, your name as well as the telephone and / or mobile number you provide are visible to prospective tenants. Your Email address will not be published.

Your stored data will be saved for the duration of the contractual relationship with you. After expiry of the contract, your data will be stored with regard to retention periods under tax and commercial law, but will be blocked for other purposes. After expiry of these periods, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data.

Send a request

If you are interested in a holiday flat or a holiday home, you can use our enquiry form to contact the host. The following mandatory information must be entered:

You have the option to voluntarily provide further information and can ask questions to the host. All information you provide will be forwarded to the host for the purpose of the contact request. The host will use the information to check your request and get back to you.

We recommend that you never send personal and sensitive data (such as credit card details or bank access data) by Email or via our mail server system. We point out that we never ask for the sending of corresponding data or the confirmation of personal data by clicking on a link.

The enquiries sent via our mail server system are stored and processed on our server. We can view the requests, but only insofar as this is necessary to ensure the security of the contracting parties or proper contact. This is the case, for example, if contracting parties are to be protected against criminal offences carried out via phishing or the sending of false Emails.

Storage location

The personal data collected and stored by us is located on a server of Host Europe GmbH, Hansestrasse 111, 51149 Köln. There is an order data processing agreement.

Data transfer to third parties

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if:

Newsletter dispatch

If you register for our newsletter, we use the data you provided during registration for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure to register for the newsletter: After your registration, we will send you an Email to your registered Email address asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm promptly, your registration will be automatically deleted from our database. If you confirm, your Email address will be stored exclusively for the purpose of sending you the newsletter and only until you unsubscribe.

In addition, we save your IP address and the times of both registration and confirmation in order to prevent misuse of your personal data. As a matter of principle, your data will not be passed on to third parties. The only exceptions are partner companies that are responsible for the technical processing of the newsletter. The scope of the transmitted data is limited to the necessary minimum.

You can revoke your registration to receive the newsletter and your consent to the use of your Email address to send the newsletter at any time. You can declare the revocation by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter or by sending a message to the contact options given in the imprint.

Server log files

The server log files are anonymised data that are collected when you access our website. This information does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally, but is indispensable for technical reasons for the delivery and presentation of our content. Furthermore, they serve our statistics and the constant optimisation of our contents. Typical log files include the date and time of access, the amount of data, the browser used for access and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of the provider you have contracted, the page from which you came to our site (referrer URL) and your IP address. Log files also enable a precise check in the event of suspicion of unlawful use of our website.

SSL encryption

Our websites use SSL encryption when transmitting confidential or personal content of our users. This encryption is activated, for example, when processing payment transactions and when you make enquiries to us via our websites. Please make sure that SSL encryption is activated on your side for corresponding activities. The use of encryption is easy to recognise: The display in your browser line changes from "http://" to "https://". Data encrypted via SSL cannot be read by third parties. Only transmit your confidential information when SSL encryption is activated and contact us in case of doubt.

Content and services third-party providers

The offer on our websites may also include content, services and performances from other providers that complement our offer. Examples of such services are maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos or third-party graphics. Calling up these third-party services regularly requires the transmission of your IP address. This makes it possible for these providers to perceive your user IP address and also to store it. We make every effort to include only those third-party providers who use IP addresses solely for the purpose of delivering content. However, we have no influence on which third party provider stores the IP address. This storage may serve statistical purposes, for example. If we become aware of storage processes by third-party providers, we will immediately inform our users of this fact. In this context, please also note the specific data protection declarations of individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our websites. You will also find them in this data protection declaration.

Objection to advertising emmails

Within the framework of the legal imprint obligation, we have to publish our contact details. These are sometimes used by third parties to send unsolicited advertising and information. We hereby object to any sending of advertising material of any kind not expressly authorised by us. Furthermore, we expressly reserve the right to take legal action against the unwanted and unsolicited sending of advertising material. This applies in particular to so-called spam emails, spam letters and spam faxes. We would like to point out that the unauthorised transmission of advertising material can affect both competition law, civil law and criminal law offences. Spam emails and spam faxes in particular can lead to high claims for damages if they disrupt business operations by overfilling mailboxes or fax machines.

Google maps plugin

We use a plugin of the internet service Google Maps on our websites. The operator of Google Maps is Google Inc., located in the USA, CA 94043, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View. When you use Google Maps on our website, information about the use of this website and your IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and also stored on this server. We have no knowledge about the exact content of the transmitted data, nor about their use by Google. In this context, the company denies the connection of the data with information from other Google services and the collection of personal data. However, Google may transmit the information to third parties. If you deactivate Javascript in your browser, you will prevent Google Maps from running. However, you will then also not be able to use any map display on our websites. By using our website, you consent to the collection and processing of the information by Google Inc. as described above. You can find out more about the data protection provisions and terms of use for Google Maps here: https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

The Facebook logo or the "Like" button on our site identifies the Facebook plugins for you. Please also note the overview of Facebook plugins at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins. When you visit our website, we establish a direct connection with the Facebook server via the plugin. You are then connected there via your browser. This provides Facebook with the information that you have visited our websites with your IP address. By clicking on the Facebook "Like" button, you link content from our websites to your profile on Facebook. For Facebook, the visit to our site can be assigned to your user account. We have no knowledge of the type of content that is transmitted to Facebook and how Facebook uses it.
